My God.

This is why I don’t trust law enforcement. They have a license to kill with impunity. One incident the image didn’t even hit on was the young man who was shot and killed while laying prone and handcuffed in the Oakland subway. The officer who killed him got less then one year in jail.

We came to adopt this notion that more police officers on the job = better police protection.

Well guess what? It is not a simple linear equation. It is a matter of quality as well as quantity, and somewhere you will hit the point of diminishing returns, namely that one corrupt, incompetent officer can undo the work of dozens of dedicated and conscientious ones.
