In recent weeks, a wifi hub thingy that apparently belongs to a neighbor of mine has been appearing, from time to time, as a device on MY network/LAN. By checking it’s properties, I’ve gleaned a MAC address, and by monitoring the nearby wifi signals, I’ve been able to determine which specific wifi signal it almost certainly belongs to, because the MAC’s match.

I would hope that you could understand why I’m very reluctant to approach my neighbor about the issue.

If I read that correctly, and someone is hitting your network, anything illegal they do is going to get you in some seriously deep shit.

Change you password now. Make it big and bad and complex as hell.
