I haven’t seen a surviving K-car of that era in many years. Haven’t seen a Pinto or Vega either. I did see an AMC Gremlin the other day though. Its successor, the Pacer, actually has a cult following of sorts.

I saw a Pinto wheezing around here in Columbus last year. Gremlins are still sought after by the 70s Hot Rodder types if they can find one that is still metal.

My girlfriend in late high school had the choice of two AMC products. Her mother had a light green Pacer, and her father had a light green Hornet. 1970-71 models or so. I swear you could get out and outrun the pacer on some of the grades in my hometown.
