True. But in the 1930s Germany was called Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union was doing just swell, Cuba had a de facto ruler by the name of Batista, Israel did not exist and China was anything but a communist country. So, I don’t know how relevant it is to a debate about Israeli policies taking place between 60 and 80 years later.

Not that the Sinti are treated that well in parts of today’s Europe either, but forced sterilisations isn’t really on the agenda in Sweden anymore. Europe has evolved.
