I think that was a little different. That was a matter of sheer survival. I can’t compare Soviet WWII veterans to CSA ones. I do think more blame is on the feet of the elite of the CSA than the rank and file but I can’t compare the two. I think this is more analogous to those who enlisted in the summer of 1914.
