There are a few women out there in politics who get wingnuts’ blood boiling. Hillary Clinton; Nancy Pelosi; Maxine Waters; Elizabeth Warren. They are largely the same generation, and are smart and outspoken. Obviously, the largest part of what angers the Right is that they’re women. But why they so hate the women of that generation, I don’t know, unless it’s that it’s also mostly THEIR generation, too.

Then again, what liberal Democratic women in politics DON’T get the wingnuts steamed up? Often the point of unhingedness? They seem perfectly OK with female politicos who toe the RW line - and the more reflexively and mindlessly the better (case in point: Sarah Palin).
