These are pieces of a larger picture. The GOP is a fascist death cult that will clearly try to rule by force if/when it can no longer win elections, with one coup already attempted, and this remarkable fact gets remarkably little attention.

I’ve been thinking of the DOJ coup attempt and the desperate attempt on 1/6 as two coups attempted, the second a lot dumber than the first. Do they just count as one because it was the one failed President trying to cling to power?
