Indeed it was.
We had this on the BBC as well, briefly, amid all the political mayhem here - but the other papers don’t ahve these reports - after all, it was the MAIL which got behind the veterans, their readers collecting money to make the trip for them possible.
Gord, natch, didn’t want to give a penny - and if PB0 hadn’t turned up, he’d not ahve gone either.

I’m looking at an article on the Telegraph web site. I don’t know if it’s in the print edition, but it’s online. And a number of sidebar articles.
