First of all, why didn’t Arafat except the treaty in 2000 that gave them everything they wanted? They could have had their own country ten times over. You can’t GIVE THEM a country. And Israel can’t kill them! Are you crazy? Bomb the place? So very humane.

You can’t possibly be this ignorant. These people are run under a dictatorship. A dictatorship has to have a common enemy that is oppressing them. In this case, Israel first and the U.S. second. Then they can divert attention from their own immorality. It’s why they don’t build schools, industry, homes and spend all their money on weapons. Arafat could never accept the agreement because he would lose his power if his people were FREE. The last thing he wanted or any of them want is peace with Israel. They lose their power and their millions from UNRWA.

Nothing has changed where that is concerned. Refugee status pays big time.

The Palestinians could take all of the foreign aid they receive and channel it into turning Gaza into a Mediterranean resort paradise. Israel would gladly help.
