My father has been gone for half-a-century now … some memories fade but others remain.

My mom is still around and could probably kick my butt. (She has been in Tang Soo Do for a long time.)

My dad died, tragically young (age 52), just over 50 years ago…heart attack after digging us out from the Great Blizzard of 1967.

He was not in that bad a shape, but he had complications arising from a car accident he had been in decades earlier that left a lot of scar tissue in his legs, which probably gave off the clot that killed him.
