I think I’ve found the ultimate in reaching for dissatisfaction over on FR. You know the cute commercial Apple did, kid appearing to be anti-social on his phone at family Christmas gathering, actually making an on-the-spot movie for them as a gift. Nice little ad.

Of course somebody over on FR had to find some way to totally get offended by it and read WAY more into it than was there.

I use Apple products, but the ad has very little to do with Christmas and has no reference to the birth of Jesus.

Furthermore, the family depicted looks to liberal.

Notice that they are driving a Subaru, a car almost exclusively driven by liberals.

Notice the father and the kid with the iPhone. Dad is bearded and looks like a liberal and the kid has bushy hair.

Finally, written in the snow is not “Merry Christmas” but rather “A Harris Family Holiday”

Even in closing, it says “Happy Holidays” on the screen and not “Merry Christmas.”
