I just heard Dave Brat on NPR (why?, cuz he’s a-conomist, I guess) who said the ACA is in a “death spiral.” He was not challenged on that premise. I don’t get it.

The GOP is like the stern dad lecturing the family on how they can’t afford anything while he reaches for his sherry cask single malt scotch.

Because the vast majority of news people have no educational or practical expertise in any field other communications and can’t be bothered to do any research?
