Cool! I became fascinated with book restorers after a visit to New Orleans. I don’t know why they have so many of them there but it’s fascinating work.

It’s an old (for this continent) and damp city. Plus a great center of trade for several hundred years. Lots of “old” families, imported goods back in the old days compared to other cities in the South, etc.
