I use public transportation, car pool and/or walk to all of my destinations. I don’t own a car and don’t need to. But I’m always a bit appalled to see people driving to the corner store a block away from their house when a short walk would save them money and help with reducing America’s need for oil. Perhaps I’m naive to think there are a lot of small ways in which we could all use less gas/oil, but it’s not too hard to make small changes that will keep at least some money out of the pockets of our enemies.

Not to mention the fact that for many people, the walk would do them a lot of good.
