Mornin’ everyone…

I’m sorry, but I have come to realize that “FUCK YOU MITT ROMNEY” is too gentle a response to his response to his ignoring the troops in his acceptance speech. Sure, we’ve all heard the “You talk about things that are important” part of Romney’s response when questioned by Brett Fucking Baier of Fox News about it, but it was his response before that that really got my hackles up just now.

Baier:Do you regret opening up this line of attack, now a recurring attack, by leaving out that issue in the speech?

Romney: I only regret you repeating it day in and day out. (LAUGHS)

WHAT THE FREAKING FUCK?

Let’s pick our jaws off the floor and review the three arguments that Romney employed here, to counter the charge of insensitivity to the troops at war by omitting them in his big speech.

1) I would have gotten away with it if you would all just shut up about it.

2) It was a conscious decision that the troops at war are not important.

3) I consider soldiers to be no different than any other military asset.

I’m flabbergasted.

Flabbergasted…yeah. Me too. Holy baby-Christ Fuck. That first response is what really pisses the fuck out of me.

Anyway, Happy Saturday…I think I’ll take the boys to the beach after I read your morning pleasantries…then it’s off to see the Giants-Dodgers game.
