My concern is that assholes like this guy will end up fucking up the whole biomedical research industry. This shit costs a lot of money, and to get people to work as hard as they do, they have to expect a pretty good reward. But it has to be sane. Blatant gouging may lead to excessive controls, which might discourage innovation.
