Yeah, this is unfortunately true.

I read Pharyngula fairly regularly, and Myers has been on a tear over misogyny and feminism for the last 18 months. The site can be tough with its “This is what I think, you’re a horrible fuckwit if you don’t agree” gestalt, but it’s really opened my eyes as to a lot of the inequity in society, ours in particular.

The commenters at Pharyngula do not take prisoners, fer sher. That said, those who are dealt with most severely really are fuckwits who come to troll so they can whine about how mean and rude everyone is just because they “disagreed.” Their disagreements WRT misogyny are almost always MRA nonsense that really deserves the mockery.
