If the story is true (I don’t really like it when news organisations use unsubstantiated sources), then there was plenty of time during the day when one little thought of “casing Disney World and an LGBT club for a mass murder” might be wrong (then run at the first opportunity).

She is either a responsible adult (and therefore an accomplice) or not.

Cops pick him up, question him, he plays nice. They have no reason to hold him, since he hasn’t committed a crime yet.

Then they let him go.

What happens to her then? Maybe he goes home and kills her first.

Ever known a woman who was in a long-term abusive relationship? I’ve known a couple. As easy as it might seem to you to ‘run,’ it’s nowhere near that easy when you’re the object of the abuse.
