Be honest… would the US public support the 200 hundred thousand plus US troops necessary to clear & hold all the areas of Af’stan where the Taliban is active? No way. It seems to me the strategy is to use drones against the leadership in Pakistan, hope we get the big guys, push the Paks to join the fight, build & train the Afghan army to take over… and then get out and pray it don’t fall to shit.

I don’t like that fight…it’s unwinnable
