Ann didn’t mention any of the details you did. She said that since the Soviet Union couldn’t win in Afghanistan, we shouldn’t expect too either. She obviously doesn’t understand the quality of our troops, has already forgotten how our Special Ops, by themselves, were able to send the Taliban running out of the country in 2001, and doesn’t understand that words of support for our troops are important no matter what president we may have.

Winning comes down to the political will to win.
We didn’t have the political will in Korea, or Vietnam. The problem is never with our troops, they have always been willing to win, in fact you have to stop them from winning.

The current administration doesn’t have the will to win.
