GOP hysterics about Ebola Czar not having medical experience falls flat when same ppl complain that Tom Frieden is just political hack w/MD

I had people tweet to me that Tom Frieden isn’t a practicing doctor, so his opinions shouldn’t matter. These are right wingers complaining about the Ebola outbreak response mind you. So, a well regarded medical expert with experience in outbreaks (Frieden was at forefront of dealing with the TB outbreak in NYC that was due in part to the spread of AIDS/HIV) is a political hack, even though he’s got years of medical experience.

So, which is it - someone who can handle logistics and communication to unify the message to make sure everyone’s on the same page, or a health expert with decades of experience? The people discounting Frieden’s handling of the situation are ankle biters at best, and we’re still talking about 3 total cases (with about ~120 contacts being monitored). Out of 310 million.
