Never liked GHW Bush as a President, but as an ex-Prez he has been a decent fellow.

Jimmy Carter has been sorta the opposite to me.

Really, I’ve gained tremendous respect for Carter. In the 1990’s I listed to one of his autobiographies —he narrated it himself. He talked about some rather personal stuff he had to “admit” to doing wrong (quitting the Navy without telling Roselyn and repairing his relationships with his sons).

He does live his Christian values - doesn’t just wear them on his sleeve.

Sometimes I think he would have made a tremendous preacher —one I might actually be able to respect.
