Well, no. I admit I am not as good on this. But I am troubled by how poor our acquisition process is, and how we are effectiveness is not anywhere near as good as it could be.

That frustrates me, and considering what we see out of the Air Force, I thought it came from the Officers. If I am wrong, I am open to listening.

F-22 components are manufactured in more than 2 dozen congressional districts. The manufacturer set it up that way deliberately so that more than 2 dozen members of congress would be highly incentivized to insist the military purchase more than the Pentagon even wants. Same for the F-35. And at least one kind of tank, and several hand-held individual weapons…
