I see these magazines in supermarkets in Boston. When they were talking about Elvis seen riding Big Foot, I could just laugh. But now they’ve been spewing hate. Has there been any efforts anywhere to get the markets to stop displaying this stuff? I see this change.org petition.

The National Enquirer had roots as a proto-fascist screed in the 1940s. It wasn’t until the Pope family bought the paper that it became the goofy tabloid most remember it for.
