I pay $54.99/month for dedicated DSL service with no landline phone. Itās top-of-the-line DSL service, though; the only way to get faster service would be to go to cable, but the cable provider implemented bandwidth caps a couple of years ago, so I cut that cord when we started doing streaming TV and more online gaming.
I donāt have cable available.
The phone company tells me this laughable ābroadband liteā (itās about as good as dialup on good days) is the best I can get due to equipment limits. My nearest neighbor (about 1/16 of mile away if that) has full broadband and can stream movies and everything.
I now know what āend of the lineā really meansā¦
