If I was asked that question, I would deny ever attending any party.

That said, the way Kavanaugh put it was rather strange.

Kavanaugh according to his friend, was a party animal. I would not be surprised if he couldn’t remember the party, or the attempted rape, or the girl - alcoholic blackouts are not rare events for teenagers who drink too much (please don’t ask how I know that).

What is so unreal is that this might stop his confirmation - he has lied about so many other things - yet they were just ignored.
