But the female patient will already have a doctor regardless if they’re insured. That means they’ve more than likely have had blood work done for other reasons. They will also have an OBGYN and other procedures such as pap-smears, etc. IOW, the medical costs won’t be unique to contraception or in that a woman won’t “just go” to see the doctor for contraception alone.
