Aside from the fact that it’s an unworkable boondoggle which will bankrupt the country post haste, its not kosher in the parts of the text of the Constitution that matter, like the enumerated powers clauses. Meaning regardless of whether you think its a “good idea” that will “solve” some problem, it’s not the government’s place to do so. There is a role for government. Taking care of everybody’s medical bills is not part of that role.

I have read your post five times- really- and I think I have an idea what it means. But I’m not clear.

Here is clarity.

The United States is the only country in the Western World that does not have socialized health care.

Remarkably enough, those that have socialized health seem to be generally happy with their health delivery systems. It has not ruined their economies.
