Police could have issued a full and comprehensive report of the incident, but they had no interest in letting the facts get out, they just want a trickle of information/disinformation that will keep such a buzz around the hornet’s nest that nobody can get close to finding out what actually happened.

I am not interested in any speculation beyond what is known and confirmed about the incident: a policeman shot an unarmed young man at least six times.
