Well, it’s the first weekend of the Austin City Limits Festival and the projected high temps are 98 tomorrow, and 99/99 on Saturday and Sunday. With the first real “cool” front coming in Monday a.m., compression wave could push temps above 100 on Sunday.

The Fest is held at Zilker Park, about 3/4 of a mile west of the house, and 70,000 of our closest friends will be wandering through my ‘hood to get there.

Today I saw the stupidest dockless scooter vision evah!

A tragically hip hipster (Major man bun, tight jeans, t-shirt, sunglasses) was driving down Barton Springs Road. His sig-other was standing in front of him and, (this is the best part) she’s holding a full-grown English bulldog in her arms. He’s looking in control, she’s smiling rather frantically, and the dog (undoubtedly named either “Winston”, or “Churchill”, or “Toughie”) looked like he would like to be anywhere else on Planet Earth, or least on skateboard.

Today, btw, was just bizarre. Drumpf is a meat bag excreting flop sweat. His staff is a fire ant mound that has just been kicked over. His administration is a plane crash. It’s horrifying and disgusting, but you can’t look away.
