So Kentucky should reassure Democrats scared of Trump. In a deep red state a very unpopular governor lost. Trump is also deeply unpopular, and the country isn’t deep red.
Well, with all but 19 of KY’s 3659 reporting, it looks like a definite, if narrow victory for Andy Beshear (via NYT): 7600 or so votes out of 1.439M. What’s interesting is the 2% (28,800 votes) the Libertarian candidate got: I wonder how those would have sorted out in a two-man race?
