Repost from the last thread, but it is as true in this one, if not more so:

I believe that the kind of bill we are seeing is exactly what these Christianists would like to put in place in the United States if they ever had the chance.
However, as Charles pointed out in his bloggingheads interview, this is part of a larger worldview, one that includes creationism, a visceral hatred of gay people, and a anti-science agenda that includes climate change denial.

These people are dangerous, and they need to be exposed. What Charles is doing is amicable and needs to be applauded.
