re: #28 HappyWarrior
A joke I heard was that to an Englishman, every American is a Yankee. To a southern, a Yankee is anyone from north of the Mason-Dixon line. To someone from north of the mason-dixon line, it’s someone from New England. To the New Englander, it’s anyone from Maine I think. And to the person in Maine, a Yankee is someone in some small rural town.
As a born-and-bred Mainer, I can tell you without a shred of doubt that a Yankee is someone you despise with every fiber of your being.
Yeah, I’m looking at you, A-Roid.
