If, like me, you were raised with no religion at all and weren’t really exposed until you were a teenager it is tough to get into religion. It just never made sense to me.

I was raised without religion too. I do understand the attraction as there can be a lot of positives in that sort of community, and it hasn’t been all that long that we’ve had much of a clue as to how the universe works. There are still plenty of questions that science can’t answer. Not that it never will, but people do like explanations for things.
