My brother-in-law and I argue about that movie all the time. He thinks it’s funny and I thought it was appalling, and that Michael Douglas was an ass to have made it. I remember seeing it in a theater and cringing when the asswipes in the audience applauded throughout. (And I always contend that if it had not had an A-list star, it probably would have gone straight to video.)

I swore I would never pay to see another Michael Douglas movie, and I haven’t!

Never seen the movie myself, but from the plot synopsis online, isn’t the movie mocking Douglas’s character?
