So the Post finds out Prof. Ford’s name, calls up the White House for comment, then goes to press with the name of Kavanaugh’s accuser before she’s had a chance to come forward. The White House immediately goes into attack mode, filtering the name through intermediaries in order to have operatives working on lines of attack in a matter of hours. And we’re supposed to believe that at no time did Kavanaugh know about this or the plans for attacking her.
