Spoken by one who probably never spent hour after hour planting, weeding, thinning and hoeing a great big garden because it would save a few bucks. This also does not count the hours and hours spent by my mother boiling, prepping, canning, etc.

Nice way to go if you are an afficiando of fresh home produce. Sucks if you must do all the work. Trust me on this one. Thank God for cans and grocery stores.

It sucks less than contagion, starvation, lack of fresh water, food riots, loss of your home and general collapse of civilization.
