And let’s never forget that Trevor-Roper’s approval of the spurious French “translation” of Hitler’s “Table Talks” came from the same famous historian who was famously taken in by and “authenticated” the famously forged “Hitler Diaries”. Ironically enough, one of Trevor-Roper’s more entertaining books is The Hermit of Peking, in which he exposed - a famous forger!
