CSA actually had a small chance for a time if that’s what you mean. A lot of it is just talk. Think Jonah Goldberg’s fantasy of beating the leftist tofu eating vegan student up. But really pining for civil war is the most pathetic of fantasies. All wars are tragic obviously but I really feel as a student of history that civil wars are the most.
