I’ve never really been in an area with too many reefs. HAd no idea about sunburn being that common among divers but then again I do hear about skiers and snowboarders getting burned a lot. For the long time, I had the misconception that sunburns were realted to how hot it was outside.

With a snow cover you can get sun burnt under your chin from the reflected sunlight.
