IIRC, the Vince Foster investigation was completed by the first independent counsel who found no crime there but Republican judges didn’t like that decision and appointed Kenneth Starr to reinvestigate. Modern Republican judges are all partisan hacks whose loyalty is to their party and not the country.

And cocaine Mitch is doing his best to make sure it’s Republican judges all the way down for the next 30 years.
