People are getting nuttier by the minute. Katie Arrington (the one who beat Mark Sanford in the primary) was in a car accident last night—she survived but has some horrendous injuries; the driver of the other car died. And already there are conspiracy theorists out all over the place claiming it was a DNC hit, an “illegal M-13,” a Hillary minion did it, etc.

Sometimes a car wreck is just a car wreck. Jeez.

And if it had been the Democrat in the race who was injured, I’m sure there would be just as much nonsensical CT BS out on the ‘Net. Same (looney-) tune, different band.
But definitely a bummer for Ms. Arrington: those injuries are going to take quite a while to heal: even if elected, come January, she’s likely to be sworn in in a wheelchair - an ordeal the voters of SC-01 ought to seriously consider sparing her…..
