I think they called it special flight and his home address from what I heard on the radio this morning, Airforce one is reserved for the “Da pres” only.

It’s not even close to the same situation, but Nixon was prez when he left Washington. When Ford took the oath they radioed the plane, and the call sign changed from “Air Force One” to “26000” (The tail number of the plane).

And didn’t AF1 pilots use the call sign “Eagle Heavy” when they slipped into Iraq for Thanksgiving?
