Excuse me, I don’t know WHAT species of nettle they’re referring to but the ones I’ve handled will cut you twice as bad if you “grasp it like a man of mettle” with your bare hands.

Please don’t be quoting poets who mostly look for rhymes over sense in their words.

More like: “treat the nettle gently and fairly and you’ll get bit but cut that f*cker down with a knife and plow it under and you’ll be okay”.
