There was a women gamer’s site that was up a long time but came down at some point. I checked it recently and they poofed. I have no idea why. Hard to find gals who like to play.

Because (at a guess) the instant far too many males know that’s a Real Gurrl sharing their world, they quit treating her like another player.

My daughter prefers to use voice chat in most games, but has basically quit speaking unless she knows at least a couple of the other players. The HormoneBoyz either quit paying attention to her (despite her often topping kill boards) or they start letting the blood flow out of the brain and into other parts of their anatomy.

The women gamers sites I use to read all wound up ending because of (to put it simply) harassment: “Yeah, you talk a good game, but everyone knows real girls don’t play.”
