For months, we kept getting told by Bernie supporters (as opposed to Bros) that his staying through to the convention was a “good” thing because he could keep Hillary from making a mad scramble to the center while using yute voters as “leverage.” He was going to get to the convention, being the messiah to all these youngin’s, and hand them on a silver platter to the DNC to win the day.

But that’s not happening. While he managed to influence the party platform, we now see that all that talk about how he was going to be able to bring his supporters onboard was bunk because more had already made the switch months ago. All he’s brought is months worth of negativity and bitterness that is going to sour the rest of this election for the party. But I’m sure that Jill Stein is thanking him immensely.

Sanders needs to be told right to his face that his platform changes will be kicked into the long grass, the committee detailed in yesterday’s meetings will increase superdelegate weight, and that he will never be allowed into a Democratic caucus meeting again until he fucking fixes this.
