Unemployment is a net good i think. However, there are plenty of people that reject jobs because it is only a a bit more then unemployment or something along those lines. I don’t know the solution there.

The solution is that unemployment support eventually runs out. Someone unemployed for a unusually long stretch of time probably needs to re-train and shoot lower. Of course Congress can extend benefits during tough times, as they are doing now.
