I imagine the Republican party as being like the Air Cav in “Apocalypse Now”, choppering in to Ride of the Valkyries, but then crashing and burning on the beach. Then Romney steps out of the flaming wreckage, dusts of his suit, and says “Well, here we are. Sucks to be you!”
