You would assume that they’re dudes who were paid to impersonate Amish but who forgot to dress like Amish (if we are to believe some people here, even though their arguments have been less than convincing). And all of this for a completely indiscernible reason. Wheels within wheels.

Luckily, since there is no evidence for this whatsoever, we don’t have to seriously entertain this harebrained “theory”.

Really, it all boils down to “Why bother?” It’s not like you’re going to convince REAL Amish to support Trump by having faux-Amish appear at a Trump rally. How would the REAL Amish find out? Internet? TV?

And it’s not like a lot of people in PA are gonna say, “You know, I had my doubts about Trump, but knowing that the Amish are behind him is good enough for me!”
