For the first time I have hope that Kavanaugh can be stopped. Of course, Trump’s second choice will be just as inclined to support the GOP agenda as Kavanaugh.

But I don’t know if they’d find anyone so committed to shielding the president. This dude seems like a True Believer, and I don’t know if they’ll find anyone as passionate about the president being completely above the law.

I wouldn’t put anything past them at this point. They could just go for broke and call for a vote tomorrow and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
